The law condemns the very best of all the best,
But grace saves all! yes, all!! ALL!!!,
Including the worst of the worst, along with the rest…
It’s foolishness, offence, a scandal, a joke to all!

It is not choosy in its approach at all,
It doesn’t matter how much someone sinned:
For every one in every nation, great and small,
Christ did the Lamb’s work perfectly, to the end.

It is so good,
So hard to credit, really, —
All that through it lies open to our reach.
By grace the doors of heaven opened freely,
And access to all gifts and blessings, each.

It’s always here, with all of us, wherever;
And he who grows in knowing Christ the Lord
Will taste of grace and all its gifts together,
And see it multiplied, outpoured.
