Yesterday Daddy reminded me of one wonderful truth, this word from Genesis: “Who told you that you were naked?” (Gen.3:11)

As a child I went to kindergarten, and one “kind” teacher, after warning a naughty boy several times, did punish him in the end. She carried out her threat and stood him on a table in the bedroom completely undressed (it was nap time). You can guess how it ended.

When condemnation and reproaches begin to attack us, not only do they drain our strength, but we can also feel as if we are standing naked in the middle of a big crowd, with everyone against us. Condemnation makes us naked. But now that the Lord has fully justified us and given us garments of righteousness, there is no condemnation for us at all! (Rom.8:1) And there is no point wasting time on the enemy’s lies. It is better to listen to what our Heavenly Daddy and His word say to us: “Who is it, who told you that you were naked? Haven’t you eaten from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil? Come on, throw that away, it doesn’t taste good. I prepared the Living Bread for you long ago! This is food for My children: SAVED, SANCTIFIED, REDEEMED, JUSTIFIED, BELOVED, HEALED… FOREVER!”

The Lord was not joking when He said that He came to fulfil the law! He was not joking on the cross! And Christ became our way to live the life of Heaven already here on earth! When we live by the One who fulfilled the law and invited us to abide in His shalom, in what is already finished (ideal, perfect), not a single lie will lead us off the true path! “Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path.” (Ps.119:105)

Our God is faithful! He wants us to be happy, and He promised that we would not be put to shame! So whatever tricks Satan uses, we are clothed in glorious garments of righteousness forever!
